University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) has selected MS2’s web-based Transportation Data Management System (TMS) as the platform for its Transportation Data Center on behalf of the Birmingham MPO, Alabama. The first phase will be the implementation of a Traffic Count Database System (TCDS) module for the regional congestion management process.

Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG), the MPO for the Phoenix, AZ region, has awarded a work order to MS2 to implement a web-based Travel Time Database System (TTDS). MAG will use the system to manage and analyze raw GPS data collected by traditional probing-car methods as well as travel time / ITS data purchased from the private sector. The TTDS will enhance MAG’s regional congestion management process by efficiently identifying congestion patterns and sharing the information with the public.

Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG) selected MS2 to conduct the 2010 Travel Time Study. MS2 will use GPS loggers to collect GPS data at 1-sec resolution on 600 miles of freeway and major arterials in the region.

Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), the largest MPO in the US, has awarded another contract to MS2. The project is to acquire data and develop performance measures for the Regional Transportation Monitoring Information System (RTMIS) for all modes of transportation in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

The Indianapolis MPO, Indiana, has selected MS2 to implement and host a web-based Pavement Management System (PMS). The system, integrated with Google Maps and ArcGIS Server, will be used to manage pavement condition data in the 9-county region. Through this regional effort, local agencies will have direct and instant access to the data and analysis in the online, centralized database.

The Kalamazoo Area Transportation Study (KATS) has selected MS2 to implement and host a web-based Traffic Count Database System (TCDS). The system, integrated with Google Maps, will be used to manage traffic count data in the region. Through this regional effort, local agencies (e.g. Kalamazoo County Road Commission, City of Kalamazoo, and City of Portage) will be able to directly upload and manage their data in the online, centralized database.

Traffic Improvement Association (TIA), Michigan, officially launched the Traffic Crash Analysis Tool (TCAT) 2.0 using MS2's core technology and TMS software platform. The web-based system, integrated with Google Maps and ArcGIS Server, manages statewide crash data and police reports in Michigan. As of today, the system contains more than 3.4 million crashes and 700 GB report images and is growing via live weekly updates.

The Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG) has selected MS2 to implement and host a web-based Traffic Count Database System (TCDS). The system, integrated with Google Maps, will be used to manage traffic count data in the 6-county region. Through this regional effort, local municipal agencies (cities of Oklahoma City, Edmond, Moore, Midwest City, and Norman) will be able to directly upload and manage their data in the online, centralized database.

New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), on behalf of New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC), has selected MS2 to implement and host a web-based Traffic Count Database System (TCDS). The system, integrated with Google Maps, will link ITS (TRANSCOM) data with NYSDOT ground-count traffic volume data and make it available for various users.
