Project Management Database System
Road projects, especially those involving federal aid, require extensive administrative duties. Beyond placing projects in Regional Transportation Programs (RTP) and Transportation Improvement Programs (TIP), many projects must account for their affect on regional traffic and air quality models, funding amounts per project phase, various project IDs, and several other critical project attributes.
MS2 has developed the Project Management Database System (PMDS) to streamline the RTP/TIP management process. It provides planners and engineers with a simple, web-based interface to collect and analyze a wide variety of project management data including:
- Project description, location, and IDs
- Agencies/Jurisdictions involved
- Project status and milestones
- Project contacts and notes
- Road/lane closures and detours
- Before/after details
- Project costs and revenue sources by phase
