Friday, February 1, 2019

MS2 announced in January that it has signed a long-term contract with the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) to provide a cloud-based transportation data management system (TDMS) including hosting and support services. The TDMS will consist of the following software modules:

• Traffic Count Database System
• Turning Movement Count System
• Non-Motorized Database System

The goal of the project is to provide SANDAG with a modern regional database warehouse that will map, manage and analyze numerous transportation datasets. MS2’s TDMS provides SANDAG with a scalable, cost effective software solution. As part of the contract, MS2 will provide several on-site training sessions to SANDAG staff and their MPO entities. We will also provide generic and customized user guides. SANDAG’s data will reside in the highly secure and stable hosting environment provided by Amazon Web Services.

We welcome SANDAG to our TDMS user group and look forward to a lasting relationship with them.
